were by far the top two sources for staying informed of new and updated
guidelines. Medical society websites came out as the top source overall.
• Pharma and industry reps were reported as being the least common source
of guidelines-related information. Even so, over 55% of clinicians reported that
they had learned about new guidelines from industry reps either "often" or
"sometimes".
• Employer Organizations scored second lowest, which demonstrates that
there is an opportunity for more organizations to take a proactive stance with
guideline dissemination.
