1. Indicates the patient in the starting neutral position. The patient's head is turned
rapidly to the right side.
2. Examining for characteristic nystagmus. Then the head is returned to the face-up
position (1) allowing all nystagmus to subside and then turned rapidly to the left side.
3. Examining once again for nystagmus.
