Abnormal type B tympanogram results. (A) A normal equivalent ear canal volume usually indicates MEE.
(B) A low volume indicates probe obstruction by cerumen or contact with the ear canal. (C) A high volume
indicates a patent tympanostomy tube or a tympanic membrane perforation.
