34 Assessment/Diagnosis Cancer Screening Considerations   ➤ Obesity elevates the risk for several malignancies, including breast, colorectal, endometrial, kidney, liver, ovarian, pancreatic, and prostate cancers, underscoring the importance of diligent, guideline-based cancer screening, such as mammography, colonoscopy, and cervical cytology, with adjustments as needed for age, sex, and risk profile. The Cancer Screening Recommendations table lists screening recommendations for each cancer type.
