COR LOE Recommendations
2a B-R 1. In patients undergoing cardiac surgery who will likely require
future CRT, intraoperative placement of a permanent
epicardial LV lead can be useful.
2b C-EO 2. In patients undergoing cardiac surgery who will likely require
substantial ventricular pacing, intraoperative placement
of a permanent epicardial LV lead may be considered to
potentially reduce the risk of PICM.
